This year’s mLearnCon 2015 Mobile Learning Conference and Expo is on June 10-12 in Austin, TX. Obsidian Learning will be there both exhibiting and presenting. Erik Pettine will be manning Booth 319, and Monica Savage will be presenting on “Reshaping your mlearning workflow.”” Here’s the description of her talk:

The use of mobile technologies for learning is on the rise. Learners want just-in-time training and performance support, and they want it on their mobile devices. But the development tools still aren’t delivering a seamless product. Moreover, the design of efficient mLearning is still new for many organizations, and design and development standards vary vastly.

In this session you will examine the trends in mLearning. You will take a critical look at how current development tools fall short, and see how a new HTML5 tool fills the gaps in available tools. You will explore best practices for effective mLearning design and in the process, determine what type of mLearning is right for you and your organization.

Monica will talk about some of the tools available for mobile development: Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Flash, and Obsidian Black. What’s that all about? Check out Monica’s presentation (or talk to Erik in Booth 319) to find out more.

See you in Austin, y’all!
