We’ve created countless engaging, effective learning pieces and well-engineered, robust learning programs. We design and execute our work to be functional on its own or as part of larger blended learning.
THE BLENDED LEARNING MODEL AT WORK
We examine client needs and create learning that is blended, spread out over time, and integrates performance support. We select the most adapted tools for each learning experience, and deliver learning where it is most effective. The end result focuses on competency development rather than on general knowledge growth.
A variety of learning experiences using a variety of media – instructor-led training (both classroom and virtual), Web-based training, performance support (for just-in-time learning), communities of practice – leads to increased learner engagement and builds the technology-mediated collaboration skills that are so vital in our global economy.
Web-Based Training (WBT)
Explainer Videos, Learning Videos, and eClips
Through technology – in the classroom, on the LMS/LRS, on social media platforms like Twitter or Facebook – learners are empowered to collaborate with each other and to seek resources for their own personal learning networks (PLNs).
Collaborative learning is a key component of Obsidian’s Blended Learning model. Learning experiences should encourage collaborative problem-solving, learning through interaction with others, the development of ongoing communities of practice, and forming connections.
